One of the most common questions we get is “What size ring guard will work best for my ring?”
Besides the measurements of each ring guard (seen here http://viewithere.com/ring_guard/blog.html ), there are other measurements you can use.to determine the best size ring guard to buy.
- The most important point is not the size of your ring (for instance a size 7 that you want to make a 6 1/2) but the height and thickness of the band.
This is so important because the “arms” of a ring guard must wrap around your band.
If the height of your rings band is 3mm, and it is a typical women’s ring in thickness then a small size is best. However, if the rings shank if thicker – making a heavy, or chunky ring – then it is wise to move up 1 size to a medium.
